Our philosophy:
Ichi-go ichi-e

Ichi-go ichi-e

At the heart of ICHI's philosophy is the concept of "Ichi-go ichi-e" (Japanese: 一期一会), which means "a once-in-a-lifetime encounter, a unique moment."

Our mission at ICHI is to stand by our guests in the present moment, here and now, and to accompany their special moments with unique dishes and heartfelt hospitality. This "Ichi-go ichi-e" experience is the very reason ICHI exists.

Wabi-Sabi

The design philosophy of ICHI is based on the principle of "Wabi-Sabi," (Japanese: 侘び寂び) which highlights beauty in simplicity and modesty. It represents the depth and charm that lie in simplicity, and is a central element of Japanese aesthetics, closely linked to the Japanese tea ceremony, Zen Buddhism, and, much like "Ichi-go ichi-e," the transience and uniqueness of every moment.

In ICHI's modern architecture, we aim to convey to our guests not opulence or grandeur, but the quiet, refined elegance of Japan.
